It's important to watch what you read, play, and watch. Near occasions of sin can lead to mortal sins and horrible life choices even if you think that it's all harmless because you're keeping it to yourself and yours. Take putting alcohol, drugs, or lewd images for example. Putting these things near their respective addicts will make them fall back into their addictions if they don't turn away from them. It is also vital to consume media that have good lessons in them and not the kinds that pretend to have good lessons while promoting degeneracy, indifference to God and truth, and false freedom from legitimate authorities.
