Innocence in Law Proves Nothing - (Song/Poem #86 from Fides Aeternam)

*prayer said in some of the secretive groups of the Ecclesia Aeternam. Most members say a single part of this prayer and end it with an amen to remember that they can't let their feelings for people blind them from doing their job in an objective manner. This composition of saying was made to remind people that they are to be more faithful and God and His Church than their families, friends, and planetary governments/cultures.

Innocence in Law Proves Nothing.

R: Because we have all been guilty of sin.

You will live as long as God allows, suffer in the way that God allows, and live as rich or poor as God allows.

R: For dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.

Woe to the prideful who call themselves saints and boast of their good works.

R: All have turned out of the way; they are become unprofitable together: there is none that doth good, there is not so much as one.

Be humble.

R:  For, the devil does not know at all how to employ it, neither does he know how to defend himself from it.

A humble soul does not trust itself.

R: We place all our confidence in God.

And we work for the glory of God starting today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

R: Amen.
