Always One Step Away from Hell: Chapter 2 - Gula

Chapter 2 – Gula
My parish priest should know what’s going on with me. I talk with him and he tells me that I’m just facing normal temptations for being a devout wife and faithful Catholic. The more vivid dreams are just the demons taking advantage of my creative mind to tempt me in different ways. After confessing some unconfessed sins that I forgot to tell him last time, he reassures me that I’m a faithful wife and my knight is lucky to have me as his princess. He also reassures me that my knight will come back one day, maybe even earlier than I think. I thank him and tell him I’ll see him on Sunday.
Okay, I guess I’m not crazy. I just have to deal with these temptations for however long I’m supposed to. Temptations are supposed to show me my weaknesses and help me work to be a better servant of God. I can beat them if another comes my way. In the meantime, I have to do my grocery shopping for the week. The market is decently packed, so shopping should be easy today.
I should treat myself to more than usual. I have been working hard. I’ve been waiting for the perfect occasion to buy sweets and other ingredients to make the perfect meal for myself. There’s a discount on everything I want to, so this is the perfect opportunity to buy everything I want. It’s a lot to carry, but I can handle it.
Oh, now that I think about it, I might’ve gotten too much. Carrying all of this now is putting a real strain on my arms. I can’t return it, so…oh, there are some poor people on the street. I might as well give some of it to them.
“Bless your wonderful soul, miss! You will be in my prayers from this day forth!”
“I appreciate it. Thank you.”
“No, thank you. My prayers are the least I can do for you.”
At least I made someone’s day. The amount of food I’ve given away has really lightened what I need to carry. Oh, someone dropped some of their money.
“Hey! Excuse me! Mister? Ah!”
He’s not listening to me and the hole in his pockets makes him drop a little bit every time he moves erratically. I could just walk away or keep following him for more. No one is watching me pick up his loose change-Nevermind. It’s not worth it. I don’t need more money for myself. I’m fine the way I am.
“Excuse me!!!!!”
“Hello, miss. Is something the matter?”
“You’ve been dropping all the money in your pocket through the holes in your pants. Here’s everything I found.”
“Thank you, so much-ow! What is it, honey?”
“I told you that we should get those pants fixed! Thank you, miss. You have our gratitude and you will be in our prayers tonight.”
“You’re welcome. I’ll be sure to pray for you as well.”
“Pray for my husband. He’s going to need it.”
My husband better not do what hers did. He’ll be needing prayers too if he does. Back at home, I find some of the stuff I thought I gave away. That’s weird. I guess I bought extra, but I don’t think the price I paid reflected that. I’m not too good at math, so maybe I did. Again, I can’t return this, so I might as well enjoy the little that’s here. It’s not bad to treat myself a little every now and then.
Speaking about that, I could use new clothes. I could give what I have to the poor and give myself the new and pretty stuff. The clothes I have are becoming ugly. I’m sure the poor won’t mind it as long as it makes them comfortable for the weather outside. My closet holds a variety of clothes for the season, so I’m sure they’d appreciate it.
No, I’m fine with what I have. It’s not like I can’t fix the little tears in the clothes. I don’t go to any parties or fancy events to need better clothes. All I do is keep the house clean. I would ruin the expensive clothing and they would just take up space in my already tight closet, so there’s even less of a reason to buy them.
Hmmm, the food tastes good already. I’m going to eat a bit more for taste testing reasons. I could eat all of it right now. The ingredients I have make a good meal the way they are right now. Why should I wait until it becomes a complete meal? Sure, I could get sick, but…
Ew, now that I think about it, why did it taste good the way it is? Everything is barely cooked. Why did I like eating this raw meat to begin with? Am I that hungry? It won’t be that long until everything is ready, so I’ll wait.
Okay, almost…done! Everything smells delicious. It’s time to dig in! Yes! I’ve been waiting for this-I forgot to say grace. I know it’s not required, but I should be thankful for my meal at least before eating. I shouldn’t dig in like a pig either…okay. Now, I’ll eat.
I’m surprised I haven’t gotten any temptations yet though it feels like I have. Wait, have I? I think I have when I was shopping and cooking. These temptations don’t leave me alone even after going to confession. At least I didn’t give into them…I think. Eck. What’s this stuff on the table?
It feels like a greasy substance. I don’t think I dropped anything while cooking or eating. Where is this coming from? Now more of the table feels like it. Huh? There’s more of it. The house feels like it’s sweating this disgusting sticky substance. What’s going on? Huh? Someone came into the house? She looks like that previous demon that tempted me before except this one is fat and wears all black with black shoes. Her hair is extremely long and thick…almost thought something dirty there.
“Indulge yourself, honey. You deserve it.”
My table is full of food now even though I just ate everything.
“No, I’m not hungry. I’ve had my fill.”
“You haven’t had this kind of food in a while and you’re a hard-working woman.”
“I already gave myself a little bit more extra. I don’t need anymore.”
“Listen to yourself. You can feel how hungry you still are. Smell the food. Isn’t it delicious?”
It does smell delicious and it’s starting to make me feel hungry even though I feel full at the same time. I need to pray for strength.
“I…I just feel hungry, but I’m not. Leave me.”
“Just look at yourself. Your skin craves nourishment.”
“AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!”
There are mouths all over my arms, face, and I can feel them all over me. They crave food and drink. Their appetites will never be satisfied until they eat everything on the table and more. I…I won’t give in!
“I’m not some ravenous animal.”
Maybe I can cut off these mouths-Ah! One caught the blade with its mouth-Ahhhh! Then ate it and spat it out at me and now the blade of the knife is stuck in the ceiling. Thankfully, I avoided it without a scratch. I can’t remove these mouths with my hands either because they’re biting at me.
“Look at you. You can barely control yourself.”
“I can control myself!”
I have to get away from this food, but the floors are so slippery. It’s so hard to move around here. Great. One of the hands ate the door handle and I can’t get out this way. The smell of the food follows me through the house as I search for a way out.
“You can’t escape your temptations no matter how much you pray.”
“I can endure it!”
The mouths on my hands and feet try eating the floors and things around them. There has to be a way out of this. The way to control myself is primarily through prayer and self-control. Maybe I just have to forcibly shut the mouths on my body through my will. Here we go. I’m struggling to keep all of these mouths shut and I can’t move.
“Hey! Get that food away from me! I don’t need it!”
“Come on. Open up wide!”
I…have to…control myself! Don’t open your mouth. Don’t think about food. I’m not hungry. I don’t need anything to eat. I’m fine the way I am. Okay, I’m feeling better now. Huh? I must’ve eaten so much that I ate myself into a food coma. There’s a mess on the table and parts of the house seem dirtier than before for some reason. Thank you, God it isn’t greasy. There’s still some time in the day, so I might as well clean up. That’s another temptation overcome. This is difficult, but I can do this. I hope I can.

Always One Step Away from Hell: Chapter 1 - Lechery

Chapter 1 – Lechery
It’s just another day. Nothing special. I clean the house, the yard, clothes, and everything else my husband and I own. My husband or my knight, I should say, is out fighting battles on behalf of God. He was never one for fighting, so I guess his calling is true. The Church is the only way I’m able to have this house and food on the table. In return, I act like a good Catholic wife and help the community if needed.
My life right now is rather drab. My knight left a few days after our wedding, so I don’t even have any children to raise, unlike my sisters and friends. I don’t even know if my husband will come back from the war. To give my life a little bit more spice, I’ve written short stories for the children I’ll hopefully get. I’ve also been practicing my drawing skills, so my husband has nice pictures and decorations to see when he comes home. Maybe the other people will see the drawings when I draw them outside and keep me company. We’re all friendly around here, but not exactly friends. I wish we were. It’s so lonely.
But it doesn’t have to be. There are some good men out there who could take care of me. My knight won’t know if I’m smart about it.
No, that’s a terrible thought. Did I really just think that? I hope not. This mundane life is getting my imagination going.  Sweep, dust, cut, wash, yadda, yadda. Sometimes I like to think I’m a princess in the making like those fairytales. I have my knight. All I need to do is make this humble home into a small castle.
I can do it with the right men. I’m sure they’ll do it for a young woman like myself. My looks got me married, so I’m sure they’ll get some men to work for me, especially if I flash a little skin at them.
Again, with these thoughts. I swear I’m not thinking of them myself. Maybe if I rest a bit outside of this dusty house, I can clear my head. The porch outside is one of the only things I’ve completely cleaned. I wonder what’s it’s going to be like outside here when I get kids. We have enough space out front for the kids to play without them getting in the way of people walking.
There are plenty of men out there who could give us wonderful children. There are rich, muscular, and hardworking men that walk these streets.
What’s going on? What’s with the look in their face? There’s something about them that makes them seem so…attractive. How can I smell them from here when they’re so far away? That masculine smell is intoxicating.
Why don’t you ask one of them out?
N-no. My life is fine with just one man in my life.
One man who might end up dead. Why not have one on standby just in case?
Hold on. Why are they walking towards me? What’s with the look on their faces?
They want you, Anita. Who doesn’t want an attractive housewife who’s good at taking care of her house? Look at them. Stare into the bright red light of their eyes and take their hands.
I…I’m going inside. I still have a few more things I want to do. What was that voice in my head? It sounded like me, but it said my name? Am I possessed or something? Holy Mary Mother of God pray for me a sinner and help me suffer through these temptations I’ve been given. I just have to get my mind off of it. Maybe I can read a book or two. Aaah! They’re coming in.
“Let us clean for you, Anita.”
“A princess in rags is no princess at all. Let us get you something wonderful to dress in.”
“Beautiful woman, who is confined to her house, let us ease your burdens.”
“Thank you for your concern, but I don’t need your help-hey! Let me down! Where are you taking me?! Aaaaaah!”
I manage to fall off them as they carried me, but I fell a long distance and now I’m in this town of arms? Why’s it so dark all of the sudden? The buildings, ground, and faceless people are made up of arms. I can feel them touching my feet as I walk over them. They feel so wrong but so right-stop! This is wrong! Who is that flying over here? Is that me? No, it isn’t, but she looks like me. Her eyes are angled strangely, and her long thick brown hair is the only thing covering her body.
“Do you feel them, Anita? They want you to embrace them.”
“You’re that voice I heard in my head! I have to mentally pray you away.”
“That’s not going to do anything. I always come back. Maybe it’s God’s will for you to embrace your desires.”
“No, He doesn’t!”
“How do you know what the will of God is? Oh, by all means, keep praying. It’s clearly helping you.”
The hands in the ground have me stuck in place! I can’t free myself from them.
“Get away from me!”
“These people made of hands only want to please you. Let them.”
“I won’t!”
I can’t break away from their arms! There’s too many of them.
“You’re a lonely housewife who wants her husband to come home to pleasure her. Why not do the job yourself or get someone else to do it?”
“I can wait for him to come home. I can!”
“Can you truly wait for him? Your resistance is fading. Your mind is numbing, and your control is fading. How long can you last?”
Fatigue is setting in. I’m so tired of not having any kind of meaningful relief in my life. All I get are small doses of fun and relaxation, but then I get back to my boring life. I need…I need…I need to…stay faithful. One mortal sin of being unfaithful to God and my husband can rightfully send my soul to Hell. I can already feel the heat from the Netherworld cooking my skin. My body is already so close to it that the demons are reaching out from it and use the tips of their fingers to scratch my face. I won’t let them have me!
“Until my death!”
I can feel my strength coming back to me. Yes! I can finally break through. I can get up-
“Ow!”
I hit my head on a cabinet. I must’ve fallen asleep while working. It looks like I slept through the night. Even though I slept in an uncomfortable place, I feel fine, but what was that dream?

A Slow and Painful Death

Good people don’t always have good things happen to them. In fact, you can say that more bad things happen more than good. Case in point was a couple that started their own charity organization without getting any kind of government approval. Bryce and Olive used an old church as their base of operations to take care of the homeless of their city. The church was used as a shelter and a place for spiritual growth since statues of Christ, Mary, and the saints was still in the church. Bryce and Olive encourage the poor to do something with their life and used their influence and budget to get people jobs. They made a decent amount of the homeless population into workers who improved their lives and the lives they came into contact with.
Since not many people knew about them, Bryce, Olive, and their group of workers were kidnapped by a secret group of scientists from the private sector of the government. The scientists experiment on all of these people to make human weapons out of them, but most don’t survive. Bryce is the only one who survives out of the entire group. Because he is able to control himself, he uses his newfound ability to tear up the hidden facility. He manages to escape the facility and the destruction is large enough for locals to notice. They report the incident and the people involved are jailed though some of the people in the private sector haven’t been caught yet.
Bryce is still alive in the world with no place to go. His condition has worsened with him being in constant and increasing pain. Half of him is completely red with black scaring. His right arm is mutated along with his right leg, which can both be used as weapons. Because of the nature of his skin, his clothes slowly melt away to expose his mutations, so he constantly has to wear more than two layers of clothes and bandages in order to not attract any attention to him. He’s tried to get help from the best doctors in the country, but no one can help him.
Because of his condition and pure soul, God has allowed him to make any request he wants. Bryce asks for the ability to see the purity and atrociousness of people’s souls so he can use his mutations for good if he has to. Since he knows he can’t kill himself for moral reasons and because his mental condition is decaying, he’s asked for someone along with his guardian angel to assist him in making the right decisions. All of these requests are granted immediately. The spirit of his wife attaches herself to him and help guides his actions.
Bryce is currently in the final moments of his life where his mind is weak, and his pain is almost unbearable. His wife is currently helping him replace his decaying clothes. He’s looking through a donation bin since he’s not exactly stealing because the clothes are meant for homeless people like him. This bin is not that far from a department store that has it there and only gives it to a local charity when the person in charge of looking over it knows it’s full. The store itself is full of atrocious souls, but none of them are too far from the light of salvation, so Bryce does his best to keep away from them.
“We have to make you look as handsome as possible,” Olive says, “I should shave you one of these days. You’re not as well trimmed as you used to be.”
Olive usually talks to Bryce in this manner to ease his nerves and make himself remember who he was. Something spikes his nerves as an atrocious soul passes him and enters the department store. Bryce can’t help but follow this soul into the store to see what he’s going to do. This person doesn’t have any demons attached to him since his soul is so rotten and yet, he acts possessed. He gets mad at the staff after a few minutes of waiting for something and impatient when they don’t have what he wants for a certain price. He then begins to make a scene with his yelling. Things take a turn for the worse when the man slams his hand on the counter then grabs a cashier by the throat.
This is when Bryce moves in, shakes the man, and says, “Stop.”
“Why should I?”
The atrocious soul pushes Bryce away, which ignites Bryce’s rage. Half of his clothes melt away to reveal his mutations much to the shock of everyone in the store. Bryce then grabs the man with his mutated arm and uses his other arm to release the cashier.
“What are you?” the atrocious soul says as he tries to free himself from Bryce’s grip.
The chemicals on Bryce’s mutated body may melt clothing, but they only give human skin a light burn. Still, his mutations give him almost superhuman strength and agility at the cost of his pain and degrading mind. He throws the man clear across the store without hitting anyone else. Because Bryce touched the man, the man’s clothes are mostly degraded so he is naked and humiliated in the store. Bryce is about to further harm the man until Olive stops him.
“Stop, Bryce. Can’t you see that you’ve done enough to him? He’s learned his lesson.”
Bryce doesn’t respond and stands in place with his mutated arm ready to strike the man.
“Do you remember those days when we went to stores like these to find outfits for me? You hated being here, but you wouldn’t rest until you got me the best outfits. I swear you’re a bigger fashion critic than most women.”
Bryce cracks a smile as he regains control of himself. He then quickly runs out of the store, grabs whatever clothes cover his mutations, and leaves the area. He makes his way to a nice suburban area to calm himself down.
“It’s okay, baby. I’m here,” Olive says as she caresses him, and his guardian angel keeps away the demons from tempting him.
A single demon is allowed through to further test Bryce.
Bryce then turns his own mutated arm on himself and mutters, “It isn’t fair. It isn’t fair. It isn’t fair.”
Olive holds Bryce.
“I know what happened to us wasn’t planned, but He’ll make it up to us and then more. Just hold out a little longer. For me. For God like we said. Do you remember how many people we helped? How many people we saved with that mindset? Help us save you now. Just wait a little bit longer and everything will be fine.”
Bryce begins to cry a bit, before wiping away his tears and getting up. Driven by a need to make his last moments count, he heads out to a part of the city known for crime of a different kind. He goes to the houses of different corrupt politicians, businessmen, and other individuals of influence to fix their ways. He asks God for the ability to help purify these people. Because of his desire mercy instead of justice, he is granted this ability, but he has to control his anger as he sees the sins each atrocious soul has committed.
He sneaks into people’s houses and touches them with his mutated arm. During the purification process, he sees, feels, and hears everything the person felt while committing the sin. He keeps himself from killing them while Olive and his guardian angel keep his mind from going. More than twenty atrocious souls are temporarily purified as they know what they know they did previously was wrong. It’s up to them now to change or stay the same as they were before.
Because of everything he’s experienced, his mind is almost gone.
Olive says, “Stay with me, Bryce. You’ve done amazing work today. Bryce, do you remember the song you made up for me. Let me sing it to you.
Sweet Serenade
Tell me why you're in pain
Is it the world you live in?
It tears at you and rips your skin apart
Tell me what I can do to alleviate your worries

Bleeding Beauty
Tell me your sorrows
Give me your pain
Let me take away what troubles you so you can be the Perfect Beauty I know you are

My Everything
Tell me makes you weep
Is it the mistakes you've made?
Does your guilt still haunt you?
Let the past be the past
I know you're a better person now than before

Bleeding Beauty
Sorrowful Love
Tell me the source of your suffering
Allow me in your life to help you
Let me take away what troubles you so you can be the Perfect Beauty I know you are

I can be your strength
Your source of happiness
You only have to share your love with me
So you can bleed no more
And be the perfect beauty you were meant to be
I honestly thought it was kind of cheesy when you first sang it to me, but I still treasure it. Do you remember it, Bryce?”
“I…it was cheesy?”
Olive softly laughs before softly kissing Bryce’s face. Currently, Bryce only has a few more hours left to live. He has one more thing in mind to do, but before he does that, he looks for new clothing since his old ones are showing his mutations through the tears. He goes to a nearby church to find a donation bin similar to the department store’s. Before he leaves, he turns his attention to the atrocious souls within the church.
“Nothing is worse than fake goodness,” he says as he enters the church.
The people and priests within the building try using the name of God to cast Bryce out, but God isn’t on their side. Bryce touches everything he can with his mutation in the church to melt what he can. He touches people’s heads to make them see their sins, but then only try to fight back against him. Since bullets don’t hurt him, he shrugs off his attackers and buries them in the ruins of the church. After his demolition of the church, he heads out to a flower garden.
No one is here and since the flowers are free to pick, he gets as many as he can with his normal hand. He takes them and delivers them to as many people as possible. He doesn’t know these people, but even in his decaying mind, he knows that surprise gifts to people can make their day. After delivering these gifts in secret, he realizes he barely has an hour left.
With everything else done for the love of God and his wife, he heads to church for one more sacrifice. He stays from the beginning and does his best to control himself until the Eucharist is given out. This is one act should heal his soul of any sin that possibly resides within it. He receives the Body of Christ and is glad, but the man behind him drops the Sacred Body, steps on it by accident, feels no remorse, and asks the priest for another one.
Bryce quickly scoops up every last particle, holds it up to the man, and says, “Take it.”
“Ew, no. It’s dirty. Throw it away in the trash or something.”
Bryce’s nerves go off as he punches the man across the church and into the statue of a saint. The statue doesn’t break, crack, or move, in fact, the man bounces off it as if the saint punched the man away from it. Despite the force he was hit with, the man is knocked cold with no major injuries. The next person fearfully accepts the Sacred Body just as Bryce’s mutations show through his clothes. Some people in the church are confused, others are fearful, while others think Bryce is wearing some kind of outfit.
A blind bishop, who is known to be jolly, joyful, and fully aware of the spiritual, is attending this mass and turns his eyes to Bryce.
He says, “Look at this magnificent soul who is with us today. Tell me, what is your name?”
“Bryce…father.”
“You have a wonderful wife and guardian angel, Bryce.”
“I am very thankful for them.”
“Hmmm, I can feel that you are hurting and sick. Let me help you.”
The bishop gives Bryce a blessing that immediately kills him.
The people in the church are shocked by this then the bishop says, “This poor man is freed from his suffering. Let us give him a proper funeral and burial. We should also pray to be like him who held his sufferings and never lost his faith in God.”
Bryce is given a good funeral as his body ascends to Heaven with Olive. After days of suffering not intended for him, he receives a just reward and then some for his devotion and integrity.

The End

An Unhealthy Addiction to Love

Day One
How did things get to this? It was just a normal day. Got up early in the morning, ate breakfast, went to another boring day of high school, and talked to my friends especially the girls I like. Annie wants to be a nurse, Marie wants to be a teacher, Patricia a crime investigator, and the Jules wants to be a singer. They’re all nice girls to be with. I’m not sure who I’ll ask out one day, but I’m not sure if I’ll have a chance. This situation I’m in is dire and I’m not sure if I’ll make it out unscathed.
This calculus homework is Hell. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make allow calculus to high school students should be arrested for the abuse of minors. I know I got most of the problems done right but I’m stuck on the last few questions. This assignment is important and might cost me if I’m not careful especially since I get Cs on all the tests and quizzes.
Whose good idea was it to take this course to begin with? Oh yeah, my parents. They thought that taking this course would allow me to skip calculus if I wanted to take a major with a bunch of math in it. I’m not even sure if I want to be in business, human resources, or something entirely different. People nowadays expect kids to know what they want to do after high school, but I’ll bet anyone that less than ten percent of kids are set on what they want to do. Whatever, I’ll just finish this homework when I get to school. One of my friends should have the answers to it even if they aren’t the right ones.
Time for some R&R for my brain with some internet. I wonder what new games are coming…out…Who’s that girl in the distance in the dark? I see a girl with a weird looking anime mask in the across the street while looking outside the street. The mask has purple eyes and she has a dark pink bow in her blue hair. She’s wearing a red dress that comes down to her knees and some black sneakers. She waves at me before giggling then moving out of my sight. That was weird. Did she do that just to mess with me or is there some other reason? I’ve been pranked by many of my friends, so this just might be another one of them.
There was this one time they dressed in a black suit like one of those Creepypastas we used to read. One of them filmed my reaction and shared it with everyone. I got back at them by pretending to be a killer, so this is probably them trying to get back at me.
I open the window and say, “If you do what I think you’re going to do, then I’m going to shoot you with my paintball gun!”
…They should know I’m serious since I’ve done it before. After a few minutes of internet, I close the lights in my room and go to sleep. Minutes pass before I hear someone opening my door and walk into my room. I’m too old to think a monster or something has entered my room, so I just keep my eyes closed. Now someone is on my bed. Who-
“Oh crap!” I scream as I see the girl with the mask in my bed.
She pounces on me, restrains my arms, and pulls out a needle and puts it on my arm.
“Shhh,” she says in a whispering voice, “You don’t want anything bad to happen to your arm, do you?”
“Who are you and what do you want with me?”
“So many questions so little time. I just want your blood to keep for myself.”
“Why?”
“It’s precious to me. Now, hold still.”
The crazy girl takes some of my blood with her needle. Why is she doing this to me of all people? What’s so special about my blood?
“What are you a vampire or something?”
“Hahaha, no, but your neck does look tasty to me. Let me bite it!”
“Get away from me!”
“Hold still. I still have my needle near your arm.”
“Tch.”
Maybe I can at least see her face. Dang it, she has some sort of black mask that covers half of her face. She slowly moves her head over to my neck. She then softly bites my neck before biting hard into it. I swear I don’t know what I did to attract a freak like this to me. She’s sucking on my neck now. This is not how I wanted something like this to happen.
“Get off already!”
“I accidentally indulged myself a bit too much and drew blood. Don’t worry. My licks should heal it.”
“Get away from me!”
I kick her away, get out of bed, and put my hands up to defend myself.
“Hahaha! That’s what I want to see from you.”
“Leave my room before I kick your ass.”
“As much as I want that, I’ll just leave and come back tomorrow. Love you!”
The masked girl walks out of the room. I hear her walk a few footsteps before stopping. I quickly open my door to see that she’s disappeared. Did this really happen? I go to sleep, wake up, and see that the bite marks are still on my neck. What am I going to tell my parents and the people at school? That a freak with an anime mask took my blood and drank some of it? I need more proof than this to show to people. Maybe I can even find out who it is. Maybe it’s one of the girls I know. I’ll take them out to see which one it is.

Day Two
“Good morning, pup,” Ariana says.
“Good morning. What’s for breakfast?”
“Eggs in a basket.”
“Sounds great. How did you know I wanted that?”
“You’d think I’d get your eating patterns by now.”
“Haha, I guess you do.”
Ariana is a neighbor I’ve known since I was a kid. She’s been a sort of big sister to me who taught me everything I know and more. She’s been staying with me since my parents are in the army and currently serving overseas. Ariana usually lives home by herself and manages her own online convenience store that has everything from food, toys, games, and medical supplies. She stays here when my parents go back to the army. Even though we aren’t related, I treat her like my sister and she calls me pup because I’ve always clung to her when I was younger because my parents are usually gone.
I don’t think the masked girl was Ariana because I doubt she would ever do the things like that freak did. We do kiss and sleep together especially after binging TV shows and movies, but nothing serious. Besides, she’s supposed to be dating online right now. Speaking of which…
“Did you find anyone to date you yet?”
“No, not yet. Are you worried that someone will take away my attention from you?”
“Not at all. I just wanted to know.”
“Does the boy I pick need your approval?”
“He does.”
“Okay, dad.”
“I’m just trying to look out for you.”
“I know. I’ll show you the guy I’m interested in when I see him.”
“Good. Hey, did you hear anything last night?”
“I did. I heard you making noises in your room.”
“Yeah...Um.”
“You were looking at porn, were you?”
“What? No!”
“Are you sure? The first time I caught you looking at it-”
“I wasn’t looking at it that time! I told you I was curious because my friends were telling me about this one sick site.”
“Don’t even entertain your curiosities. You know what that garbage will do to your mind.”
“I know.”
“So, what happened?”
“I uh. Had a bad dream and fell out of my bed.”
“I guess that’s how you got that mark on your neck. You know you can always sleep with me if you want.”
“I’m older now. I don’t need to sleep with my sister.”
“You say that, but you never go to sleep if I didn’t sleep with you after we binge horror movies.”
“Whatever. I’m going to school.”
“Don’t forget.”
“Yes, mom.”
I give her a kiss and she gives me one.
“Have fun in school, pup.”
“I’m going to have so much fun.”
Another boring day of school rolls by with nothing notable happening. My mind is too preoccupied with what happened last night and how to deal with it to worry about school. Today, I ask Patricia out to hang out for a bit after school and Annie decides to join us. I’m not sure if this is an indicator that she’s the masked girl or not, so I’ll have to keep an eye on her. She’s the only who probably knows how to use needles, so she’s at the top of my suspicious people list. What actually happens is much less interesting than I thought.
The two girls talk more with each other than me. Nothing is out of character for the girls and neither tries to get my attention unless I comment on something. The only cool thing that happens is me walking around with two girls by my side with other guys looking at me in jealousy. I don’t want two girlfriends at once, but I don’t mind being out with two at once like this. After hanging out for a few hours after school, I go home, do some homework then relax with Ariana. I want to stay with her for the rest of the night, but I’m not sure if the masked girl will kill her to get to me, so I go to bed by myself after playing video games together with Ariana.
After a few minutes of nothing happening, I remember that it’s a smart idea to lock the door, so the girl can’t get in. When I get to the door, it’s too late. She opens the door and I see her creepy mask through the crack in the door.
“Hello, sweetie,” she says in a creepy voice.
“You aren’t getting to me today!”
I struggle to shut the door on her, but then she manages to put her hand through the door and put a syringe inches away from my neck.
“Fight me again and you might not like what will happen,” she says.
“I’m not going to like it either way.”
“You’re going to love it. Open the door.”
With no other choice, I open the door. The girl injects the syringe in my arm and I start to feel weird. I feel more relaxed and attracted to her.
“What did you do to me?”
“It’s a special love potion if you could call it that. Now…relax.”
She pushes me onto my bed and holds me. I try to resist but I feel weak. This is wrong, but it also feels right. No! Got to resist! I push her off with whatever strength I muster and throw a punch at her face, which misses but at least I have some distance from her.
“I love it when you play hard to get!” she says before moving her mask up to kiss me.
Her kiss tastes so sweet. Did she eat chocolate or something before this? She smells so sweet too. This is so intoxicating-no! The freak took my first kiss away. I…have to…fight!
“Get away!”
“You liked it. Admit it.”
“Just because my senses like it doesn’t mean I do.” I throw a couple of punches, but my foggy mind makes me slow and miss. “Leave me already!”
“I will…for now. I got what I wanted. Love you.”
“Shut up.”
The girl walks away as I fall on my bed and pass out. When I wake up the next morning, I still feel a bit of the residual effects of whatever she injected in me. I still taste her sweet taste in my mouth-Stop thinking about it! One of the next two girls I’ll hang out today have to be the culprit. I don’t want to do this every night.

Day Three
“I made one of your favorites today,” Ariana says with breakfast on the table. “Chocolate pancakes and hot chocolate or as we like to call it…”
“The morning chocolate reaper,” we say together.
“Thank you so much, sis.”
“Dig in, pup.”
As I’m eating the pancakes, I can’t help but be reminded of that masked freak. It tastes almost exactly like her. Dang it. I have to get my mind off her. I just have to keep my mind on my food and keep eating.
“Hungry, pup?”
“No, your cooking is just that good.”
“I’m glad you think so. I heard wrestling last night. Did something happen again?”
“No, not really.”
“You know you can-”
“Fine, I’ll sleep with you tonight.”
“It’ll be just like nights when we first met. Do you remember how old you were back then?”
“Five years old then.”
“And I was eighteen. Now you’re sixteen. Almost an adult.”
“My parents might as well have left me with you from the day I was born with how much time I’ve spent with you. They barely did anything for me.”
“Don’t say that, pup. They still love you.”
“I guess, but I think you love me more.”
“That I won’t argue with.”
I still don’t feel right. Maybe I’ll just walk it off.
“Whelp, I better get to school.”
I give Ariana a big hug and kiss.
“Ah, okay. Have fun.”
“You bet.”
Yep, got to walk it off. So, walking it off helped a bit, but not too much. I’m actually energized while at school and don’t feel like leaving with every second there. I still didn’t learn or do anything fun or useful for me though. Anyways, I ask out Jules and Marie decides to tag along as well. We go out to the mall and they keep asking my opinions on things. “Do you like this or this better? Movies or comics? Video games or sports? Red or black?” Wondering why both want to know what I like, I ask them why they keep asking. Apparently, they were betting on me liking particular things. I’m sure they both like me, but this isn’t the same as…I just realized something important.
The masked girl is a little taller than me. None of the girls I talked to are taller than me but wait! My calculus teacher is taller than me. She always wears those outfits you see in erotica with teachers in it (not that I look at it just saying). She always winks at me, hugs me, and talks to me a lot more than the other teachers. It has to be her! I knew the abuse of minors in public schools is worse than Catholic schools, but I didn’t think it would happen to me. Well, I can’t know for sure until tomorrow.
Tonight, I sleep with Ariana it’s comforting being in her arms after being in the arms of that freak. She doesn’t know it, but I lock the door to the bedroom for peace of mind. Thankfully, I sleep peacefully through the night.

Day Four
Okay, the moment of truth. After eating a quick breakfast, I head off to school and endure it to my last class, which just so happens to be my calculus one. I talk to my calculus teacher and ask her if I could talk to her in her office. Surely, if she was the masked girl, then she wouldn’t try anything in school, I hope.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“I was just wondering what you were planning to do tonight.”
“Just going out with my boyfriend for some drinks. Today is the start of your spring vacation, right? Us teachers have to rest too, you know?”
“Oh.”
“Hm? Is something wrong? You seem concerned about something.”
“I-it’s nothing.”
“Oh, let me guess.”
“Hm? Guess what?”
“Just because I act more personal students doesn’t mean I’m attracted to you.”
“What?”
“It’s happened before. You don’t have to be embarrassed. Even though I do like younger men, I don’t date students I teach.”
“I’m not wondering about that!”
“Oh, so what is it then? You seem troubled by something. Is there something private you want to talk to me about?”
“It’s nothing. I was just wondering what teachers like you do during spring vacation. My friends were wondering too.”
“I can tell when men are lying.”
“Trust me, it’s nothing.”
“…Okay. Have it your way. If you want to talk to me about anything, just email me and I’ll be sure to set aside some time for you or recommend you other people to talk to.”
“Thank you and sorry for bothering about something so small.”
“It’s no problem. Have a good vacation.”
“You too.”
It isn’t her. Who is it then? None of the girls I talk to fit the body type of the masked girl, but my teacher does, and yet, she’s taken already. She wouldn’t be obsessed with me. Could it be some other girl in school that I don’t talk to that much? Whatever the case is, I’m going to find out tonight.
Ariana went to bed early tonight and I don’t think she’s expecting me in her bed. Good, I’m a grown man after all. I can take care of myself. I lock my door and sit in my bed for a few seconds before I start hearing noises.
“Ahhhhhh!”
She was hiding underneath my bed. The freak climbs on me again and holds me by my wrists to prevent me from punching her.
“You’re mine for the entire week. We’re going to have so much fun together. I can’t wait!”
“Where’s Ariana?! What did you do to her?”
“Aww, you love her so much, don’t you? Well…” She takes off both of her masks and blue wig…oh no. “Surprise!”
“Ariana?!”
“Yes, pup. It’s me.”
“Why?”
“Because I’ve been so lonely for all of my life. No man would take me, so when I was asked to care for you, I took the opportunity to raise you into the perfect man for me. What you like is what I like, and we think so much alike. I’m a bit surprised that you didn’t talk to me about this the first time it happened, but I did like playing this game with you. I would’ve confessed if you brought it up.”
What do I do now?
“You know you can’t do anything now.”
Can I-
“You know there’s no way out of this. You’re mine for the entire week and then you’ll be mine forever and ever, pup.”
She really knows how I think.
“Just love me, not as your sister, but as your girlfriend. I know I may be older than you, but you know how much I love you.”
“I…I need space to think about this. Get off.”
“I don’t think so. I’ve been waiting years for this. You’re not going to deny me what’s mine!”
I try resisting, but she takes out one of her needles and puts it to my neck.
“Do you remember when I brought you to the doctors, pup? You didn’t let them give your shots and you wanted me to do it. This should help you relax. Stay still.”
Dang it. I have to let her stick me with the needle. I don’t want to feel calmer. I can’t. I try resisting, but my energy feels drained.
“Shhh.”
Ariana kisses and bites me for hours before letting me rest.
“I love you, pup.”
I don’t know what to think anymore. Hopefully, my parents will come home soon.
“I’m not sure you’ll parents will be coming home.”
“How do you know?”
“Haven’t you been looking at the news? It’s been bad overseas for the past couple of days, but then again, you never really did care for your parents.”
Crap.

Day Five
What am I going to do? There’s no chance I can escape Ariana. If I try, she might inject me with some needle that she probably got from her online store. Right now, we’re eating breakfast. French toast to be specific. We used to eat these specifically on special days that mark the end of school, but now I don’t feel like eating.
“Come on, pup. Eat up. I made one of our favorites today.”
“I don’t feel like eating.”
“Here, I’ll help you.”
Ariana eats some of my food then-! Pulls my head in and feeds me like a mama bird. Blech!
“I’ve always wanted to do that. Now, eat before I feed you like that.”
“Fine.”
I start eating, but the food doesn’t taste the same as it used to especially after what she did.
“What did you do with my blood after taking it?”
“I put it in a little blood vial necklace, so I’ll always have you whenever I go out.”
“Why do you want me so badly?”
“You should know why. I’ve been so lonely all of my life and needed the perfect man in my life. You’re that perfect man and I’ve made you into him.”
“I still don’t understand you.”
“You should by now. You just don’t want to admit your love for me.”
“I’ve always loved you as a sister.”
“You’re going to love me as your girlfriend first. If you thought about dating any of the girls at school, forget about it now, pup. You’re mine now and you want to be.”
I do have to admit that I see her differently now. Maybe it’s because of the things she’s been injecting me with or because of how she raised me. After finishing breakfast, I stand up and she grabs my arm.
“Give me my morning kiss, pup.”
“I don’t-”
“Morning. Kiss. Now. Or, I’m giving some of my special medicine.”
“Fine.”
I give her a kiss on the cheek.
“Not there. Not anymore.”
She puckers her lips and closes her eyes. I don’t want to, but I guess I don’t have a choice. As I give her a kiss on the lips, she holds my head to make the kiss last longer then uses her tongue. This better not happen every morning.
“I love that taste of you,” Ariana says as she holds me. “You’re not leaving my arms today nor any of the other days. You’re mine.”
There has to be a way out of this. Maybe I can call-
“I already changed the passwords on your phone and computer. You aren’t talking to anyone else but me. I know all of your plans. I even took the locks off the windows. Just relax and we’ll have the best time of our lives today.”
For the rest of the day, Ariana keeps me in her arms while biting, kissing, or sucking on my neck every few minutes like I’m some kind of snack to her. We do the normal things we would do on a spring break such as; watch movies, TV shows, and play video games, but with her always touching me. I don’t know how much of this I can take. I feel so uncomfortable yet comfortable at the same time. The only time I’m allowed to leave is when I have to use the bathroom. Even then, she stays outside the door.
I swear when I take a shower, I can see her looking through the crack in the door to watch me. While she showers, she chains my wrists to the railing leading upstairs. She says I could join her in the shower or vice versa, but I refuse, even though she did take baths with me when I was little. Everything else is “normal” for the rest of the day. Of course, when I go to bed, she has to sleep with me.
“Wasn’t today great, pup?”
“It was okay.”
“Tomorrow is going to be the same. I can’t wait.”
Dear God, I need help.

Day Six
The day starts off the same as the last though we get a knock at the door. Ariana acts normally as I answer it. Oh no. We receive news from a soldier that my mom and dad died in battle. Apparently, we still won the war over there because of their sacrifice. The man gives us his condolences and a few things of theirs before leaving.
“W-”
Ariana pulls me away from the door before I can get to the soldier. He’s gone by now. My only chance of escape is gone. I feel aggravated today. There has to be a way out of this. If I can make it out the door, I can get help from someone outside. I don’t care who helps me. I just need help. All of this holding, kissing, biting, and licking is getting on my nerves. I use this energy to break free from Ariana’s grip when it feels the lightest. I don’t get far before she tackles me to the ground.
“You’re never going to escape from me, pup! It’s time for your medicine!”
I can’t move with the way she has me. She’s too heavy to lift off me and the needle is already in my arm. I really can’t escape from her. Whatever she injects me with makes me feel calm and good. When she kisses me again, I want to kiss back, but I resist the temptation. She starts to feel me up by running her hands through my chest and back.
“If you’re going to do something to me, get it over with already.”
“I wish I could, pup, but the doctors are going to have questions about me being with a sixteen-year-old. I can wait until we get married. Is this an indicator that you finally give in to me?”
“N-n…no.”
“You will soon.”
Ariana lays me down on the couch and we don’t move from that spot for the rest of the day. She continues to lay on me, caress, kiss, and bite me every few minutes or so. I can’t take much more of this. When we go to bed, she holds me extra tight with her legs and arms around me more tightly than usual. Any movements from me make her hold me tighter. There’s nothing I can do to against her.

Day Seven
This day is the same as the others. The rest of the days are going to be like this. Even when I go back to school, do I really want to report Ariana? She’s the only person in the world that’s cared for me. She’s everything to me. Even if I drop out of school, her business can keep us feed and in her small house. I could always get a normal job later if I want, but what’s the point if Ariana already makes so much money?
After breakfast and our morning kiss, I say to her, “Ariana…do you want to be my girlfriend?”
“Yes! Yes! It’s about time you gave in to your true feelings, pup.”
“I love you, Ariana.”
“I love you too, my little pup.”
We kiss and this time, I don’t resist her. I love her so much and I’m never going to leave her. We’re going to be together forever and ever and ever…

The End

I think this song, The Thirst is Taking Over by Skillet, goes well along with the story. It was either this or reusing My Obsession (by Skillet).
