Birthday month reflections: March 13th

Horror is my favorite genre because of how it pits good vs evil. The best kind of horror stories frame evil as something that is sinful and menacing, but not invincible. It also has to frame God and holy things as they should be rather than showing them as nearly useless objects that can get rid of evil but aren't able to destroy them completely. This is why I frame all of my horror books under Catholic/Christian horror so everyone who goes into it knows the kind of framing evil and good will have and that it is tried in the right way.
