Truths that are hidden, but plain to see. Part 3

(Continued from Virgin Mary)
It is self-evident from this example that Mary has special privilege and power, which is why she is called the Queen of Heaven and Saints. From this, we can say that it would be wise to pray to her with our intentions so that she can help us. To think that she isn't special in any way or to think that she can't help us is to insult her and you don't want to insult a person's mother especially since she is the Mother of God.
It is self-evident then that the saints and angels beneath/beside her can be prayed to in order to get help who can intercede for us.
(This intercession helps us get to Heaven since we'll have other people who are in union with God to help us.)

(Continued from the infallible Church)
It is self-evident then that we have faith in the Church even when we don't completely understand her. She is God's infallible authority on earth that should be recognized and treated as such. To have faith in the Church is to have faith in God not only because God lives in it, but because we can never fully understand God until we die. Until then, we have to faithfully follow Him wherever He leads us.

It is self-evident that salvation can only be obtained through the true Church (which we have shown is the Catholic Church). It is this Church that God has tasked to teach and lead souls to salvation. God, Himself lives through the Church and is the supreme head of all of it since He leads it and instructs it. Because of this, a person must be in union with this Church to enjoy the fruits of eternal salvation.
This is not to say that a non-Catholic Christian or even non-Christians can't be saved. Through the grace of God, if you die while saying a perfect contrition (repentance of sin based on a love of God rather than fear of Hell), then you will enter into eternal life after being cleansed. If you're a non-Christian who wants to get baptized and enter into the Church, then the same will happen with you.

It is self-evident that people will live willfully ignorant because they are content with what they know. This is true for atheists who can have a good set of morals but refuse to learn more about the existence of God and don't give Him the respect and honor He deserves. Thus, their actions aren't morally good. This is also true of Christians who will choose what they think is true about Christianity and pick whatever version/denomination they feel comfortable with. These people don't go all the way in learning about the truths that they need to know. If you can read this, then you have access to this information through the internet and can get it for free.
(It is known that this willful ignorance can damn a soul to Hell. It is then inferred that someone who has the opportunity to learn more but chooses to stay uninformed might be damned as well. I am, however, unsure if this is completely true and might just be judged on a case by case basis.)

It is self-evident that only saintly people who are in complete union with God can live in Heaven. Once Lucifer and his angels rebelled against God, they were sent to Hell thus we can say that this truth is self-evident. Because of this, we can say that only saintly people can enter Heaven. We can also say that Purgatory exists because of this. Purgatory is a place where souls will be purified before entering Heaven. Souls in Purgatory are still stained with sin and need to be cleaned there with spiritual fire. A lot of people say these souls are the human spirits we see on earth who have to do what they need to before moving on. People from both earth and Heaven can pray for these souls so their individual purification processes can quicken (which is another reason why you should pray to the saints, Mary, and the angels).

It is self-evident that priests can't marry. Priests follow the example of Christ who didn't marry anyone in His earthly life. By doing this, they more closely model, configure themselves to, and consecrate themselves to Christ. This practice has been a part of the Church since the start, so going against is going against her infallible authority, which is a sin in its own right.

It is self-evident that meaningless pleasures are harmful. Meaningless pleasures are pleasures that are temporary, short-termed, and usually a sin. For example, pleasuring yourself or drinking too much are meaningless pleasures that hurt yourself and your soul. It's a weakness in your character that should be worked on constantly especially if it's an addiction. You only harm yourself as scientific studies have shown.
On the flip side, you should indulge in meaningful pleasures. These include writing books, exercising, drawing pictures, reading, praying, and such. Some of these things should be done in moderation as all things should but these pleasures will help you rest and make good use of your time.
(Because of this logic, we can say that homosexuality is meaningless and therefore a sin. The only pleasures created through homosexual acts fit the definition of meaningless pleasures thus homosexuality should be avoided at all costs.)

It is self-evident that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God Himself. Because of His example, His life recorded through the gospels, the examples of His followers, and His impact on the world, we can say that Christ is indeed who He says He is. He continues to work through His Church that is still alive and doing His will (most of the time) to this day.
