It really is weird that I'm continuing to find inspiration to post for my little group. I didn't even know if I really wanted to start it. That said we still need members to show different perspectives, but remember, we only accept devout Catholics.
Society's Monsters hopes to bring to light the redefining of what it means to be good and Catholic to those who misunderstand it and redefine it. Modern society wishes to play god and they see us as devils. Let's show them what true monsters look like when we hand them a mirror.
Modern man suffers from willful ignorance rather than a lack of information. Even though he can look up the beliefs of Christianity and evidence for it in seconds, they'd rather look up porn or false information to refute it. Pray and help teach these people.
God has given us traditions and teachers to learn what the truth is and how He wants us to act. Don't let your personal view and disregard for truth get in the way of learning this knowledge. He means to test us in this life so that we are worthy of the next.
Only the Church possesses the gift of infallibility. It is guided by the Holy Spirit to say what is true in terms of Tradition and Scripture interpretation. You may not be able to reason it out, but that is why faith in the God is greater than man's reason.
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.’ Matt. 7: 22-23
If someone calls themselves Christian but rejects certain true teachings and accepts others, they reject Christ as a whole.
“Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me, and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me” Luke 10:16
When you serve God faithfully, you are guaranteed salvation.
Take notice, therefore of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. Romans 22
Not all Christians will be saved.
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers and they will throw them into the furnace of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matt.13 41-42
One of the ways I try to help people is through my writings especially my horror books. You can see goodness and love better when it's contrasted to horrifying and violent events.
When I read about Church infallibility and checked to see if I was doing God's will correctly, I began to go back to the Catholic Church. I didn't know anyone that know its teachings and even fewer who didn't repeat lies. This is why I try to spread the truth.
Remember that the most dangerous form of evil is the one that appears to be harmlessly good. Just because something doesn't appear to harm anyone and causes joy doesn't mean that it is good. Be aware of these kinds of behaviors in others and yourself.
Rebellion against God starts with thinking that we can discern the truth for ourselves without help. No one really knew Jesus Christ before He revealed Himself to us. There's a reason why he gave authority to His followers so that others will know the truth.
Truth is intolerant because there is only one just like how there is only one God. Be intolerant to sin, lies, and false truth if you truly want to see the world made into a better place.
One of the greatest enemies of God is the false Christians. Heretics that sell their own version of Christianity that was not founded by God but by man. There is only one truth, there is only one version of Christianity.
The people that accept certain teachings of the Church but don't accept others are not faithful followers of Christ. They are a faithless people who refuse to completely humble themselves before God, willing only to go to the cliff but not jump off it.
If you are going to read about Christianity, then read works by the saints and the blessed. Why learn about it from mere men when you can read about it from men and women of God?
One of the things I learned from my dreams is that the way the world is can define a person's personality. If a world is terrible, a person will be terrible unless that person has a strong personality. Be the person undefined by the world around you.
Only Christ can save the world and we will be His instruments of change. Modernism, heresy, and secularism will all other sinful isms will fall underneath the might of Christ's Holy Church.
