While reading the Berserk series, I found a couple things like the Evil dead reference and the xenomorph helmet designs. All writers find inspiration from others and put parts of it in whether intentionally or it'll be passive. Now these little designs and references are cool and I can't really complain about it since it's only a small reference and doesn't really take up too much time. I also can't complain too much since Dark souls is like 40 - 45% Berserk.
