Truths that are hidden but plain to see. Part 5 (Final?)

It is self-evident that luck doesn't exist. When there's a coin toss, there are several factors affecting it like; the force of which it was tossed, the wind, the side it started on, and the surface it bounces off of. When someone shuffles a deck, they are not doing it randomly but they are doing it while not keeping track of the positions of the cards. When a person gets lucky on a slot machine, they just happen to play the slots when the slots are programmed to give someone a win. If all of these factors are taken into account, then we can rule out luck being a factor and say that luck doesn't exist. We can also say this if we are able to know all the factors that go into a situation.

It is self-evident that God is a simple being (divine simplicity). He is made of only Himself and can only be good and pure. This is not contradictory to Him being all-powerful or all-knowing since He has shown this by creating the universe from nothing and by knowing the hearts of all men.

It is self-evident that the truth can be misrepresented by a person's personal view. This is most evident in the different denominations of Christianity. The Bible and history are interpreted differently by all denominations and has lead to people separating themselves from the others. It is also evident in science. Because nature does not clearly spell out the truth, scientists have explained evolution, the beginning of the universe, and climate change in very different ways.

It is self-evident that parents have to make their children better than them or at least make them equal. In order for the world to become better, we need better people and what parent doesn't want their child to have a better life than them. Because of this, it would be better if every parent would teach their child to be better than them or equal. To make a child worse would be to make the world worse and would usually involve child abuse.

It is self-evident that reason is based on known information. This is because a person needs to know what goes into an argument before making it. A person cannot use reason by itself to come to conclusions since you wouldn't have the pieces you need to create an idea.

It is self-evident that there can be false reasonable conclusions. It is reasonable that if; 1. Humans have three legs - 2. I have two legs - 3. I am not human, but this, in fact, is broken reason. A false truth. People will assume false things are true because one of the ideas that make up their arguments is false. Because of this, if you were to argue with these people, then you have to go after their assumptions and find out which one is false.

It is self-evident silence is consent to evil. If you let a person beat up on another, you are saying that you don't care if this is happening. If you stay silent on matters of evil, you let it continue existing while it spreads. Even if you are too afraid or too weak to help in any direct way, you should not stay quiet about it and use your own special skills to help in some way. Everyone can, in fact, help in a meaningful way however small it may be. So if you don't do anything, then you consent to the evil that happens in the world.
