Ace Argentum joins a secret syndicate called the Hydra Roundtable and is put in a group with like-minded criminals, Kelly McGhee, Al Jarrett, and Suzuki Koyama. The people who join their syndicate do so to commit crimes in the shadows for the betterment of society, steal from those who steal from the innocent, and punish the guilty who aren't punished by law enforcement. Theirs is a group of vigilantes who will steal simple things such as cash to being sent to rout out a cult within the government, and finally to help steal the presidency of the United Chimaera States itself.This collection includes: Thieves Stealing from Thieves, Virtue Among Thieves, and Redistributive Justice, along with Behind the Story trivia for each short story.
