The mega popular Souls series is a hack and slash dark fantasy video games series famous for its high difficulty and rewarding gameplay. You can play the game the way you want as a magic user, tank, rogue, or balanced fighter so there's many ways of facing the challenges the game presents. The story for the game is...vague at best with YouTubers like VaatiVidya who do their best to solve this mystery of a story by looking at the descriptions of items and other lore bits. The only problem the games have are; the camera sometimes acts up, enemies that follow you with their attack so facing them is very trial and error, and connections with other players can be real jumpy sometimes. Besides that they're all pretty good games. I beat Demons souls - Dark souls 3 *and bloodborne 2/24/17. So try them, but be prepared to die...a lot.
