As the world returns to the state it once was, the vampires come to claim a majority of it. Things become even bleaker as the last Aurora is defeated and her allies and family are slaughtered, but a serf named Evan Meridies seeks to enlist her help so that he and the rest of the serfs can gain the aid of the Church. Will this unlikely union be the last of the Aurora or the start of something new?
