The Complex is a giant building that encapsulates the world with relatively smaller buildings within it. It is a place of rampant corruption, violence, and hedonism. The stories in this collection follow people who reside within it and who have indulged in evils but will turn their lives around to dedicate their lives to something greater than themselves, which is a foreign concept in the Complex.
