Birthday month reflections: March 8th

Despite what my books might show, excessive violence and messed-up events should be used sparingly. I will show them once or twice in my books to show a character's personality, the consequences of sin, or how dangerous a situation may be. Otherwise, extreme situations should hardly be shown. Also, another note, don't show sex or rape scenes. It's unnecessary and degrades your work into the trashy levels of hentai and pornography. It's one thing to imply that it's going to happen or has happened before cutting away, but an entirely different thing to show it happening from beginning to end.
