Series that takes time to like

In some cases, don't you like something after spending an extended time with it? It's kind of like this with me with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure after reading vol 1 of the collected series and watching more of it. Other examples for me are Final Fantasy, Persona, and Souls series. It isn't the same however with a series like Naruto which I can't seem to like no matter how much I watch it. Now I think that series that grab you almost instantly or on the spot and can carry it on are better than other series that take a noticeably long time to enjoy. What are series that you like that take a while to like? Comment below because I'd love to know and talk about it.
